Oh Hae Young Again Episode 1 to 8 Highlight

Alternative Title: Another Miss Oh
Episodes: 18 (after 2 episode extension)

Oh Hae Young Again is tagged as a mystery romance. It has similar charms to Marriage, Not Dating, which isn’t surprising because they come from the same PD. The romance is between a woman who got dumped on the day before her wedding and a man who got dumped on the day of his wedding. You can always trust dramas to give us the heavenly matched couple.

(I'm finally ending my long Kdrama drought)

With You Episode 2

Episode 2: “Are you willing? I am?”

The last part in that quote sounds like "I do" in Chinese. If you're thinking of marriage, you're spot on. There’s even an aisle to walk down. The one walking down that aisle though is Yu Huai's and he's moving steadily towards Geng Geng (;

With You [最好的我们] Episode 1

Chinese Title: 最好的我们 (Literal translation: The Best of Us)
Episodes: 24 (2 eps/week)

Here I go again with another school based drama. It’s about a boy unconditionally in love with the class’s dumbest girl. If you’re wondering whether the boy happens to be one of the smartest guys in class, Bingo! Already the setup is soooooo old but I caaaaaan’t help it! I LIKE IT. What do I do? I recap.

If I can work out my weak spot like it’s a muscle, trust me guys, I’d do it. I got this incredibly weak, flabby spot for dramas with this kind of nostalgic ambiance. There really has been so many school-based dramas but this one just naturally stood out to me. It wasn’t showy, nothing overly dramatic; the characters were just down to earth.

Su Ran Ran's Husband Hunting Journey Episode 36 to 39

Alright, so I did forget about this drama (sorry) but here it is, the long-awaited love story between Ri Xuan and Yue Ying! I wasn’t too impressed with how they fell in love and that may have had a toll on me getting this recap out on a duly manner but now that I’ve revisited these episodes again, I’ve come to appreciate things I’ve completely missed before, e.g. the reason behind why they’ve got names of their own but go and adopt new ones for themselves.

On a side note, I'm so glad I get a break from all those dark scenes. I love the green in these episodes.

My Amazing Boyfriend Review

My Amazing Boyfriend
Chinese Title: 我的奇妙男友
Episodes: 28

Ehhhh. This is better than decent! I would have shoved this in a dark, dark corner if not for Janice Wu (or Wu Qian). She had played the younger Mo Sheng in My Sunshine and I had actually preferred her Mo Sheng over Tiffany Tang’s. Anyway, this drama is better known for being the remake of inspired by You From Another Star which just screams terrible to me. Normally, these remakes are cringingly embarrassing but this drama aims to be more than a frivolous attempt to attract the mass.

The Stalker Review

Chinese Title: 潜行者
Episodes: 38

Synopsis: Li Zheng Bai is kidnapped, blindfolded, and threatened to help “Jun Tong” for this top secret mission where he’s supposed to deliver these boxes somewhere somehow. Because of x, y, and z (variables for things that happened), he’s forced to take it upon himself to complete the mission for the love of his country. He strings together a band of ex-convicts to complete the patriotic mission. His trusty team consists of a pickpocket, an ex-gang member, a macho muscle man, a girly dude, a frail old man, and others whom I will not disclose at this moment. It’s honestly the best team ever.

Go! Goal! Fighting! Episode 1 to 24 (Brief)

Chinese Title旋风十一人
Episodes: 35 31

Go! Goal! Fighting! is this spring's youthful drama. It's a drama about sports, romance, teamwork, and friendship. I especially loved the first ten episodes because that's when the team is finding their roots and developing their bond. There are a ton of characters and a ton of romantic potentials but it's really the teamwork that is the focus of this drama  and well, Hu Ge.

Su Ran Ran's Husband Hunting Journey Episode 29 to 35

I did not forget about this drama!

For these seven episodes Ran Ran is on her way to becoming a vampire. New love is blossoming, families are reunited and old love is being remembered. Not much at all.

The Imperial Doctress Episode 50 + Review

Last episode! How did it meet it your expectations? As for me, well, I didn’t have much expectations.
